Kobalt Dart League – Season 1

 

Welcome to the first season of the Kobalt Dart League, a queer-centered dart league proudly sponsored by Kobalt Bar. This league is designed to create a fun, welcoming, and competitive space for LGBTQ+ players and allies who enjoy darts, community, and a great social atmosphere.

 

Matches will be played on BullShooter electronic dart boards with teams of three players competing each week in a mix of classic dart games. Each weekly matchup includes 13 total games:

 

• 6 Doubles 501

• 6 Doubles Cricket

• 1 Team 701 game (all three players participate)

 

 

Each game is worth one point, and the team with the most points at the end of the matchup wins.

 

The inaugural season begins Monday, April 27, and runs weekly on Mondays through July 6.

 

Each league night will begin with a Social Hour from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, giving players time to meet each other, warm up, and play extra practice games before official matches begin.

 

Official matches will start at 7:15 PM and are scheduled for 90 minutes. With two dart boards in play, four teams will compete each league night, creating two matchups per evening.

 

This will be a draft-style league, meaning individual players sign up and teams will be formed through a draft. Team captains will be selected based on player statistics submitted during registration to help create balanced teams. If you have dart stats from previous leagues, you can include them during sign-up. If you don’t have stats, simply enter 0. All new players are absolutely welcome.

 

The league will be organized and run by League Commissioner and Dart Master Dani Lerma, ensuring a structured, fair, and fun playing environment.

 

Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to darts, the Kobalt Dart League is about building community, enjoying friendly competition, and being part of the launch of a new queer dart league.
